Today in reading, students received a copy of the novel, Taking Sides by Gary Soto. They filled out a textbook order form for the book assigned to them. We also discussed the importance of making sure to bring their copy back to school each day and to take very good care of their assigned book. Once we're done with the novel study, students will return the books back to the school.
This will be a tremendous help when completing assignments and allows them to do some reading at home!
