Students should be close to finishing their book choice for the second project this trimester.
Just a friendly reminder that by the due date, Thur., 10/28, they are to complete the Greeting Card project and take the Accelerated Reader quiz in one of the 6th grade reading teacher's classroom.
Here are some helpful tips:
*Take advantage of any free time in other classes by bringing your book to all your classes (not just to reading).
*Use the notes sheets provided in the Greeting Card project packet or even sticky notes to jot down important events as you read.
*See me EARLY to get some feeback or look at examples shared in class.
*Don't wait until the last minute to take the AR quiz. YOU'RE responsible if you can't get on a Lakeview computer on the day you want to take it!
*Take your time when you do take the quiz. You only get one shot at it, so prepare for it like you would for any other test.
