After a long weekend, we hope that students return to school next week well rested and ready for ISAT testing. Today in Reading, I was impressed to see how many students could recall the format for the Extended Reading Response. We practiced writing one in class using the story "Scout's Honor" from the Literature textbook.
Test-taking Tips:
*Get a good night's sleep.
*Make sure to eat breakfast.
*Bring plenty of sharpened pencils and a book to read.
*Take your time while taking the test.
*Review all of the answer choices.
*GO BACK and CHECK your answers.
*RELAX and DO YOUR BEST!
