To go along with the students' next book pick, a science fiction or fantasy novel, they will be working on the Grab Bag book report project. Today in class, students saw an example using our classroom novel, Maniac Magee. They are encouraged to be creative and thoughtful when choosing the objects they put in their bag. These should symbolize the story elements from their book. I look forward to the book talks that each student will be giving soon!
