Students in reading are well into their individual book picks for trimester 2. I've been impressed by their interest and eagerness in the Rebecca Caudill nominees for 2010! This award is unique because the voters are the young readers like our very own from Lakeview. The books have been going quickly so if one is not available from the IMC, check with your local public library.
Besides reading these books for their personal enjoyment, students will also take an Accelerated Reader test for each of their three selections. The due date for the first AR test is Thur., 12/17.
