Students have chosen a second book to read independently for the "Family Ties" unit we are currently studying in ELA. By Friday, 11/22, they are to identify the main conflict of their book and jot it down on the graphic organizer for the assignment.
The purpose of the project is to track the main conflict of the story by looking at the perspectives of the main character and a second character. This includes citing evidence from the text and drawing their own inferences related to each character's thoughts, feelings, and actions towards the main conflict.
A copy of the graphic organizer and rubric are available through the file cabinet. The final project will be created in their GoogleDrive account.
