Sixth graders are participating in the vote for the Rebecca Caudill award for the best book of 2012. This honor is unique because the young readers decide the winner! On Monday in class, Ms. Hagensee will introduce the book nominees and give students an opportunity to check out their choice. Students are also encouraged to go to their local library to borrow copies there.
The requirements for the project includes:
1) Read at least 3 of the nominated books.
2) Take the Accelerated Reader quiz for each.
3) Complete a book project for each.
Copies of the projects are available in my room or by accessing the files from the ParentConnect gradebook.
