It's that time of year again! Students are preparing to vote for the Rebecca Caudill pick of 2010. This award is unique because the students decide the best book from the hard-to-choose list of nominees.
In reading, students will be required to read at least 3 books of their choice. To go along with this, they will take an Accelerated Reader Quiz and choose a project to complete for each.
Project Choices:
1) Write a letter to me about the story elements and your reaction about book
2) Design a poster that includes the story elements and your reaction about book
3) Make a Top 5 List that explains the main lessons you learned from the character
4) Illustrate a comic strip that summarizes the most important events
5) Create a time line that summarizes the most important events
Points:
*Accelerated Reader quizzes = 10 each
*Reading Projects = 20 each
