Spooky Tale

To get in the spirit of Halloween, students will create their own spooky tale based on one of the pictures presented in class.  Tomorrow, they will entertain the class by sharing them in class.  Check out the expectations for the assignment.

Write a spooky story based on one of the picture prompts shown in class. Use the notes that you took in class to include details from the picture. 

Be sure to include:

1. A beginning, middle and end to your story

2. Correct use of (highlight each example in your story):

• 1 IDEA noun

• 1 proper noun

• 1 possessive noun

3. Correct grammar and punctuation

4. Creativty!

Expectations:
Story includes a beginning, middle, & end - 6 points

Correct use of nouns (2 pts each) - 6 points

Correct grammar & punctuation, Varied sentences - 3 points
