Narrative Composition
After brainstorming memorable experiences that students could use as a topic for their composition, they have narrowed it down to one. They jotted down details they remembered to help them choose. To organize their ideas, they then completed the narrative graphic organizer worksheet, which tracks details such as the setting, conflict, and resolution.
Next week, I will be conferencing with each student to check their progress and share feedback. Each day they will work on a specific part of the composition in their language arts notebook. A rubric will also be given with the expectations and grading scale. A copy is available online through the ParentConnect grade book.
Smiley Face Tricks Quiz Corrections
As the end of the quarter approaches, just a reminder that students have a Redo pass for Language Arts and Reading that they may use to improve on an assignment or quiz. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity!
