There are two weeks left before the first book project of the year is due. Students will be given at least one day a week in class to continue reading their book, take notes for their project, and check in with me for feedback. Students are going to the IMC today to learn about the Accelerated Reader quiz, which they will be taking for their chosen book. Miss Hagensee will show them how to log-in to the school program and give them a practice quiz.
Need-to-Know Info
*Literature poster or letter and Accelerated Reader quiz due Fri, 9/28
*Take notes about the story elements using the planning sheet included on the handout sheet
*Use sticky notes to jot down important information
*Make a plan to figure out how many pages you need to read before you want to finish your book
1)Calculate the number of pages you have left to read.
2)Count the number of days you have left to finish your book.
3) Divide the number you get for #1 by the number you get for #2
*Extra copies of the handouts are available through the ParentConnect grade book
