This week students received the project information for their first book choice of the year. All of them are expected complete one of the project choices offered: literature poster or literature letter. Both involve identifying and analyzing the story elements, such as setting, main character, and conflict. A copy of each handout is available through the ParentConnect gradebook.
In addition, students will take the Accelerated Reader quiz for their chosen book. This involves answering 10 questions that cover the entire book. The program is available on all school computers here at Lakeview. It is highly recommended that students take the A.R. quiz shortly after finishing their book while the details are fresh in their minds. Miss Hagensee, the IMC librarian, will show students how to access this program and give them a practice quiz on Fri, 9/14.
