This week students chose a person or an animal that they want to learn more about. After gathering information from books in the IMC, they composed a draft of their research report. They were also expected to cite their sources using the IMC bibliography forms. Today students will have time to type and find pictures to use as a visual aid. On Monday, presentations in class will be begin to learn about their findings.
Here are the expectations for the assigment.
*Introduction tells the main idea in an engaging way (3 pts)
*Body paragraphs for each main topic. Support for each topic includes at least 2 facts/examples (6) *Connections between the ideas are showed clearly (2)
*Conclusion sums up the main idea (2)
*Third person point of view (2)
*Focus on facts, not opinions (2)
*Correct grammar, spelling, & punctuation (2)
*Biliography form completed correctly (2)
