This week sixth graders got to know more about their classmates by interviewing each other. They chose six questions to ask their partner and conducted interviews in class. The notes they collected will then be used to create a newspaper article featuring that person.

I wrote an introduction paragraph that:
-starts with a lead sentence that hooks the reader right away
-lets the reader know the name of the person I am writing about
-includes important information about the person’s life
I wrote a body paragraph that includes the person’s hobbies, talents and accomplishments.
I wrote a conclusion paragraph that summarizes the person and ends in a memorable way.
I checked my writing for errors in grammar and spelling.
I wrote an attention-grabbing title for my article.
