Next week, students will begin writing their first composition of the year, a personal narrative. They did a great job this past week with their narrative paragraphs. Topics included the best or worst day you ever had, as well as telling the story about a person you admire.
In class, we'll discuss the elements that make up a narrative composition. We'll also practice identifying them in well-known children's stories before students begin writing their own.
