In Reading this week, students practiced how to summarize a newspaper article called "Peers Talk It Out". For homework, they chose an article from a Scholastic magazine article and will apply what they learned by summarizing this, as well.
Details to track before writing include:
*title, author, and source
*main idea-what the text is mostly about
*3-4 most important details
*make sure to put the information in your own words.
