We are continuing with the modifiers unit by moving on to adverbs. In class, we reviewed the difference between adjectives and adverbs.
Remember: Adjectives modify nouns while adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs.
This week students were also able given the opportunity to improve their grade on the adjectives quiz by doing corrections. It is important that they have a clear understanding of adjectives before moving on to adverbs.
The next quiz is scheduled for Thur, 2/14. Students are also encouraged to get additional help before Homebase or during study hall.
