READING
It was the students' pick for the last project of the year. Their book is from a genre of their choice.
Check out the 2 projects they had to choose from.
Option 1: What If? Situations for the Protagonist
Choose two of the following suggested situations for your main character and write one paragraph for each of the situations. Be sure to include a topic sentence for each paragraph as well as at least 2 pieces of evidence from the text to support your response. Remember that this project is your final test for the book. Your goal is to show your teachers that you've read and understood the book.
Option 2: Scrapbook for a Character
You are to imagine that you are a character from the novel and keep a scrapbook of pictures, objects, letters, symbols, and other items that you think the character would find important enough to save in a scrapbook. The items can include pictures of other characters, important events from the plot, or prize possessions. The scrapbook must look like a scrapbook and everything should be labeled with its significance.
*You must include at least 6 items and explain their significance.
Due Date: Project Due Tue., 5/25
Make sure to check out the rubric for each assigned project!
