Adjectives Project

This week students began work on a creative project that utilizes what they know about adjectives. Yesterday they began by brainstorming 25 adjectives that they would use to describe themselves. Then, a symbol was chosen that best represents their unique identity. These elements will be incorporated into a drawing and writing piece that they will present to the class. I look forward to next week!

Here's what I came up for me...

Ambitious
Authentic
Clumsy
Complicated
Easy-going
Empathetic
Filipino-American
Forgetful
Fortunate
Independent
Loyal
Moody
Observant
Open-minded
Optimistic
Organized
Patient
Petite
Punctual
Quirky
Respectful
Spontaneous
Stubborn
Stylish
Unpretentious

Those who know me best would consider me independent. Whenever I set a goal for myself, I am ambitious to get what I want through hard work and determination. It has paid off since I feel fortunate to have a what-more-could-I-ask-for life.

One of my biggest pet peeves is people who act fake so I strive to be unpretentious and not two-faced! Like all of us, I am not perfect. Once in awhile, I can be moody at the drop of a hat, but like a light switch, I am back to my optimistic self. At all times, I carry band aids because I can be so clumsy too! I have the scars and bruises to prove it.

My family and friends are so important to me because they always have my back and make me laugh. That’s why being loyal to them is a must because they keep me sane. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in life is to be respectful because you have to give it to receive it! Did I mention that I can be forgetful too?
